Convert Mach 4 into a Mustang Sedan?

Currently, a fresh report from Ford Authority indicated that Ford has filed for a new trademark application with the USPTO The application for the name "Mach 4" was submitted to the United States Patent and Trademark Office on February 25. As per the information available on the USPTO website, this trademark pertains to "motor vehicles such as gas and electric cars, pickup trucks, sports utility vehicles, along with their structural components."

For many years, rumors have circulated about Ford building a Mustang sedan, dating all the way back to the car’s initial generation, says Ford Authority. By 2018, Ford apparently presented a conceptual version of this idea to dealers but eventually put the plan on hold. Additionally, the source noted that in May of last year, Ford CEO Jim Farley indicated his belief that the company might produce a four-door Mustang provided it maintains “all the performance and spirit” characteristic of the classic model.

Additionally, there’s a chance that this Mach 4 trademark could be linked to the standalone Raptor supercar that Ford has previously hinted at. Although details about that specific project remain unknown, Farley mentioned something related to it in January.
