The Seahawks might have had one of the more amusing confirmations of a player signing with their team during this free agency period by sharing an image of a cup.

In 2021, Kupp earned first-team All-Pro honors after topping the NFL charts with 145 catches for 1,947 receiving yards and 19 touchdowns. This achievement made him the first wide receiver to secure the league's triple crown since Steve Smith Sr.'s feat in 2005.

Nevertheless, since then, Kupp has participated in only 33 out of a potential 51 regular-season matches due to injuries. Over this period, his average receiving yards per season have been merely 753, peaking at 812 in 2022.

This contributed to the Rams letting go of Kupp. In his place, they signed another experienced player. Davante Adams ; the player, aged 32, has recorded five successive 1,000-yard receiving campaigns despite suiting up for three distinct franchises – Green Bay Packers , Las Vegas Raiders and New York Jets .

The article initially appeared on USA TODAY: After being released by the Rams, Super Bowl MVP Cooper Kupp agrees to join the Seattle Seahawks.
